Spider-Mouse
Just a quick sketch I did during lunch at work. Looks like a lot of people are doing these Marvel Disney Mashups due to the buyout.

Working on the website a little bit since I never really liked the old layout or colors. Things might look a little strange for the next few days. Hopefully the result will be a cleaner and easier to read site.
I've finally gotten around to putting together a demo for Bugs. You can download it here. This is a small portion of the game and it's more of an engine test than a demo. Please keep in mind that this is an early test so there are many temporary things in there. You can play around with a few of the enemies though so there is stuff to do. The default resolution is 1024x768. Click below for controls
It's been awhile since I posted something about Bugs. I've made a lot of progress and it's really starting to feel like a game now. Enemies spawn in and attack you in different patterns. You can take damage from them and get knocked back or blown up. You can also deal damage and knock flying bugs out of the air or cause a chain reaction with exploding bugs. It's coming together really well. Click the image to check out a full screenshot.
On the non art side of game making, creating enemy AI is my favorite thing to work on. It's really fun to bring a character to life but it's also really difficult for me to code. I get lost in that pretty easily. I just finished up the AI for an enemy which I'm calling the Exploder for now. Here is a preview video showing off what he can do. This one has the most basic AI of the enemies I'm planning but it's still pretty fun to play around with. The graphics for him are still work in progress but I'll probably be keeping the basic design.
