Here’s a finished render of the main character for my animation project.
Modeling and character design are not my specialty so there’s not a lot of detail or originality in the design. In the future, I’d like to get a concept artist and modeler to help me out in those areas.
I’ve updated the materials and rendering since the previs video, adding in rim lighting and some cleaner line work. The shadows also have a bit more depth to them, which I had to be really careful about, so it wouldn’t break the 2D illustrative look.
